Attorney Profile
Mr.
Ted Gudorf is
board certified by the Ohio State Bar Association as a
specialist in the areas of estate planning, trust and probate law. There
are only 142 attorneys in the State of Ohio with this prestigious
designation. In addition, he is the newly elected President of the Ohio
Forum of Estate Planning Attorneys. Mr. Gudorf has written several
magazine and newspaper articles on these topics. He has spoken across
the country in places such as Florida, Nevada, Missouri and Illinois
teaching other attorneys his methods and ideas. He is a member of the
Dayton, Ohio and American Bar Association Trusts and Estates Committees
and is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
Ted’s law practice is best described as compassionate and comprehensive
planning for individuals, families and businesses. His strength lies in
his counseling ability to make complex topics seem simple. He is a
teacher at heart who loves to help his clients achieve lives of
significance.
Ted is a 1986 graduate of the University of Dayton School of Law and a
1983 graduate of Wright State University with honors. In law school, Ted
received numerous awards and accolades including the prestigious
American Jurisprudence Award for receiving the highest grade in
Individual Income Taxation and Complex Litigation classes. He was
crowned Midwest Regional Champion of the American College of Trial
Lawyers Mock Trial Competition. Ted was also elected President of the
law school Student Bar Association.
Ted and his wife Sandy were both born and raised in rural Minster, OH,
approximately 50 miles north of Dayton. They were married 26 years ago
and have two teenage children. They live in the Dayton suburb of Clayton
where each serves on numerous community organization boards.
